This might be a little risky with my second graders, but it reminded me of a similar activity when all the students stand in a circle like dominoes and then sit in a squatting position so every person in the circle is sitting on the lap of the person behind them. You could give students some supplies and give them the goal of getting water to reach a certain point; you could also give them a pre made pipeline and have them do a relay with a ball going through the pipe instead of transporting water.
