Vanilla Berry Lemonade-1 c water, 1 c sugar, 2 vanilla beans (seeded/split), 8-10 lemons, 5 c water, 2 c berries (rasp/blue/blackberries). Bring to a boil water/sugar/beans. Cook til sugar dissolves, begins to thicken slightly. Let cool. Juice lemons. Strain out pulp/seeds. Add 3/4 of the sugar mixture to pitcher, add lemon juice/water. Check sweetness. Add more vanilla syrup if needed. Add berries. Chill for 2 hours. Pour over ice, garnish with berries/ lemon slices.
