Whenever you’re looking at how to replace oil in a recipe, you can normally do it with another fat source. Here’s the very loose recipe👇 A ton of fresh basil About 1 cup of roasted, salted cashews 2 garlic cloves ½ a lemon juiced A generous dousing of nutritional yeast Salt to taste 2 avocados Process her up and add more salt or more of any of the ingredients if you feel like it. This is tofu… a tofu crème brûlée! 😎 RECIPE (6 servings, 1h prep time): -400g silken tofu -100ml vegan cream -100g sugar -1 Tl Vanilla extract -a pinch of salt Blend until smooth. Transfer to a pot and heat it up while stirring. -3 Tbsp corn starch -3 Tbsp water Mix well to dilute the corn starch. Add it to the pot and keep stirring until thickened. Transfer to 6 ramekins and let them chill for at least 1h. Add some sugar to each crème and caramelise with a blow torch. by @fitgreenmind

VIRAL VEGAN HIGH PROTEIN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE 😋
400g silken tofu 200g dark chocolate (70%) 1/2 tsp vanilla 3 tbsp maple syrup (or more) (Serves 4) Instructions: 1 Melt dark chocolate using a double boiler or (Thermomix: 3-5 minutes, 50 degrees, speed 1). 2. In a blender, combine melted chocolate with silken tofu, 1/2 tsp vanilla, and 3 tablespoons maple syrup. Blend on high for 3 minutes (Thermomix: 3 minutes, starting from speed 3 and gradually increasing to 9). 3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Freezer Carrot Cake Bars - Love & Lemons
In an ideal world, I’d have a pan of these bars in my freezer at all times. To me, they’re the perfect way to satisfy an afternoon craving. With their rich cashew “frosting” and nutty carrot base, they’re plenty decadent and sweet, but they’re made with wholesome ingredients like nuts, dates, and maple syrup. If the bars are too firm to eat straight from the freezer, allow them to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before digging in.
