School gardens can include every student, and educate them on the importance of trees, plants, and growing your own food. This hands on activity gets them all involved, as well as it being an all year round idea. Getting the students out of the class and in the garden changes up the school routine, and can encourage them to go home and help out with mum or dad with the gardening as well.
