She was born in Marblehead, Massachusetts and executed by hanging on September 22, 1692. Her husband was Samuel Redd, a fisherman. Memorial to John Willard at the Salem Witch Trials Memorial, Salem, Massachusetts. John Willard was accused of witchcraft by Ann Putnam in May 1692, after questioning the trials. He was originally the constable of Salem Village & was responsible for bringing the accused in for questioning & trial, but began to doubt the truthfulness of the accusers. Died: 19 August 1692
