Ballerina - Imagine the time when glass starts dancing

Produced by one of the oldest glass-making techniques: hand-blowing into moulds with an optical pattern. Thanks to this, we were able to transfer the pattern from the mould onto glass. This created a remarkable visual effect to the skirt. Hand-blowing also allowed us to “spin” the skirt and capture the ballet dancer in the midst of dance. Fluid and energetic, with each piece an original. Exactly as you see them on the stage. Design by Katarína Kotuláčová for Sans Souci

Ballerina - endless patience and skill of our glassmakers helped us capture the idea and turn it into reality. We produced the ballet dancer with enthusiasm and in the belief that we can make glass dance. Concept By Katarína Kotuláčová, Sans Souci
