Alicia Kim on Instagram: "Do you clean your drains? I started this about a year ago and have a reminder on my phone to do monthly. Cleaning your drains with baking soda and vinegar followed by boiling water prevents clogs and combats odor. So simple to do! Simply pour 1 cup baking soda followed by 1 cup vinegar down your drain. Plug with washcloth or rag. Meanwhile boil a pot of water. After 15 minutes pour the water down the drain. Then bonus- clean your sink with more baking soda and dish soap. I also clean our bathroom sink drain and bathtubs. This is something I do in my drains. Especially for hardwoods, laminate and LVP flooring. ⠀ I love a Vacmop because it’s safe for all hard floors type and doesn’t oversaturate plus it vacuums are the same time. Or a flat mop that you can squeeze out to just be slightly damp or a little more wet for tile. ⠀ And you can skip fancy cleaners here too because a few drops of dish soap is all you need too.
