Two Tsarina 24-light Baccarat Torcheres by Cristalleries de Baccarat, Paris, France- 20th Century. This design was deemed the candélabre de la Tsarina because Czar Alexander II who when he noted the Baccarat show at the Paris Exposition Universelle off 1867 commissioned a candelabra, a fountain & a guéridon, and subsequently a pair exactly like these for the private apartments of his wife, Tsarina Maria Alexandrona. A similar pair sold in 2007 for $204,000.
