When we're young, love is all wrapped-up with passion, glamour, excitement, mystery, thrill, beauty. When we're old none of that stuff matters at all. When we're old, all that counts is the love itself. Which is all that should've counted all along. The photographer's closeness to his subjects his choice to shoot in black white emphasize the point.
