Add ice, and shake for 10 seconds to chill. Next, prepare a rocks glass by placing a large ice cube inside. Use a cocktail smoker to infuse the glass with the aroma of maple wood chips. Once smoke has filled the glass, strain the chilled cocktail into it. Spritz with mezcal, and garnish with a slice of fresh ginger. Enjoy!
