This is my origami make of the stunning compound of 3 cubes. I had been attracted to this compound since seeing it on a poster in elementary school. I finally got around to actually folding it in '06 I think it was... Since 8/12 of the each cube's edges are split into three parts and the other 4/12 of them are cut in half, the total number of units required was 3 x (3x8 + 2x4) = 96.
