My goal was to form a very tactile vessel. I wanted to interest the eyes and lure the hands to touch and explore. This bowl was lovingly and purposely made irregular as part of the design. I used thinly rolled porcelain clay with a burnt brown underglaze and a translucent gloss to give the vessel a wet look.
