Polka-dotted house - Life magazine April The house is the work of Emery Jernquist, who had painted his Warwick house black, but then decided it looked too somber. So he decorated its walls and white chimney with bright-colored polka dots.
The Pine Cone Dream stencil by Flora Bowley is reminiscent of the pine cones she collected as a child; One of the newer motifs to find its way into her work, she achieves it by stamping her paint brush repeatedly.
Ken Knight (Australia) is a plein air artist producing landscape paintings outside in oil in an impressionist manner. I have never heard of anyone painting oils plein air, it seems like a lot of work! beautiful though :)
