Some folks turn their noses up at the idea of shopping at dollar stores, and what we have to say to those people is, “good, more dollar store goodies for us.” Because dollar stores are not just a haven for frugal shoppers – they are also a marvelous destination for any good do-it-yourselfer.Those places are already great if you are looking for simple home essentials. However, if you want to take things to the next level, know that so many items sold there can be upcycled – basically, creatively repurposed, from something that you wouldn’t normally use, to something new and improved, and with added environmental value. Who would’ve thought you could do all that with dollar store products?
