MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Circa 383-379. Tetradrachm (Silver, 14.43 g 11), Olynthos. Laureate head of Apollo to left, his hair falling down the back of his neck. Rev. ΧΑΛΚΙΔΕΩΝ Kithara with seven strings, and with a small tripod above the cross bar.  A very rare die combination, with a remarkably handsome head of Apollo, perhaps the finest of all those used on the coinage of the Chalkidian League. Extremely fine.
