This piece of line art is pretty creative. The artist has done a wonderful job taking a design and making it have a effect. The position of the hole on the rule of thirds line gives the design some depth and still keeps the symmetry.

Illusion- look at this canvas and tell me you see? the left side framework is slightly distorted..this is because of the strong diagonals in the frame..the ancient Greeks knew this optical flaw all too well when they designed their temples and the only way to correct it so that it appears straight is to crop the side slightly at an angle.
