Franziskaner Weissbier. 12/26/14. I tried this with my brother after reading how highly rated it was among wheat beers. It has a very nutty, malty, distinct taste. The spices bring an array of flavors in the mouthful so that you could say this is a very earthy Hefeweizen. The aftertaste lingers strongly of cloves which, while not my style, was not unpleasant either. I would rate this highly as a unique hefe to try!
