This pottery hanging water feeder for birds and insects can also make a perfect winter bird feeder while topped with the roof. It would make perfect functional decor for the backyard, garden, balcony, and winter garden. It also makes a decorative piece with earthy colors, a natural shape, and a jute rope for hanging. There is little a little texture of cubic details erected inside the plate for the insects to be able to rest and drink water. This feeder is heavy enough not to tilt and spill water with a small bird sitting on the rim. I made this feeder from slabs of textured clay, in a natural shape. I decorated it with a graphite black glaze. To finish off and make it suitable for hanging, I added an approx. 1 m length of the jute rope. If you don't want this feeder in a hanging position just pull out the rope and use it as a standing one. Every piece is unique and may slightly vary from the photo.
