On 5.9.1945 escaped from Prague German State Minister for Bohemia and Moravia SS-Oberguppenführer Karl Hermann Frank. In his bulletproof Mercedes Benz 540 K with registration number Pol-12 went west. K.H.Frank was identified and captured in Rokycany. In August 1945 was issued by Czechoslovak authorities for punishment, and in May 1946 he was executed. Mercedes Benz 540 K Gen. Ernest Harmon donated Prague. Since 1955 it is part of the collections of the National Technical Museum.
