Texas Hill Country
Jacob's Well is a significant karstic spring, the largest perennial spring in the Texas Hill Country. It flows from the most extensive underwater cave in Texas, opening in the bed of Cypress Creek, a few miles north of Wimberley, Texas Near the home of Rx4Nails.com :)
The Texas Hill Country has much to offer. Westcave Preserve is a great example of this. Just past Hamilton Pool only 27 miles from downtown Austin, this lush hidden gem turns green in the spring with ferns and cypress. The steps in this Westcave Preserve image lead up to an outlook that rests behind the 40 foot waterfall (more of a trickle on most occassions). Still, it is cool and green - a nice break on a hot Texas summer day.
