Sharpie Tie-Dye Technique by my sister Alison This project starts with the basic sharpie technique and used a pint of rubbing alcohol. I also recommend starting with newer Sharpies as it takes more ink. Start at the top of your shirt or panel. Draw a design that is heavy with ink , Have your markers still out and start dribbling on rubbing alcohol. For alcohol: We used a 3 oz travel bottle because that's what was on hand. I would use an 8 oz squeeze bottle if available.
