Stems broke so short, I put my sun bleached oyster shell in a Chinese rice bowl full of water to help the flower stay above water.

Sun bleached oyster shells from Fort Bragg, thought of putting them in this glass bowl to steady the flowers...I am going to like experimenting further!

DIY Centerpieces: 1. Select two cylindrical vases (one a bit smaller than the other). 2. Place roses (or flowers of your choice) in the smaller vase filled with water. 3. Place hard candy sticks (you can find a wide assortment of colors of these hard candies) vertically in the space between the vases. 4. Fill it all the way up! 5. Tie a big pretty bow and you’re all set!
