At first this made NO sense to me until I saw an actual video tutorial by Jessiecakes (check her out if you want to see this in action it’s FABULOSO!). I made my own photo tutorial because I added a step (that made sense to me…maybe not you but, to each his own! Frosting Techniques, Frosting Tips, Icing Tips, Icing Frosting, Cake Icing, Icing Recipe, Fondant Cakes, Cupcake Cakes

BEST way EVER to frost buttercream cakes! Fab video to get perfectly smooth & level cakes (top, side, every which way). Do without flipping: frost top, put cake board on top (tape a piece of cellophane to cake board to prevent sticking). Level, refrigerate, frost sides like photo.
