Jan Kubiš. Postmortem photo. Bodies of seven paratroopers were dissected in Prague Institute of forensic medicine, their heads were separated from bodies. Heads of Kubiš and Gabčík were placed to glass containers with conservation solution. Heads of other paratroopers were deprived of tissues, and skulls were showed in dissecting room in Prague Institute of forensic medicine. Heads and skulls were taken away by Gestapo on April 20, 1945 and their destiny is still unknown.
