Steps to make DIY lipstick with crayon: Get the color crayon you want your lipstick to be. Take the wrapper off the crayon. Break it up into little pieces. Put the pieces in a microwaveable bowl and add some petroleum jelly (Vaseline) in with it. Put it in the microwave for 4 min. If it doesn't melt all the crayon or jelly, put it in for 30 more sec. Put the mixture in the freezer for 20-30 min. (When you take the product out of the freezer, let it set for a couple sec. So it can get soft)
Made using 4 crayons. I traced the ballerina then filled her in with black paint (sharpie looked a bit brown and you could see white spots), broke and melted a crayon in the microwave (30sec. + 15sec until melted) in a shot glass, dropped on canvas with a child medicine syringe. Cost: $6
My crayon art! I did one in blues and one in reds that says Family on it. I hot glued the crayons on, then used spray glue to glue on the metal words that I found at Hobby Lobby for $3.50. Then I used my blow dryer and melted the crayons to my liking. I sprayed it with a clear coat and the glued a matching ribbon around the crayons (I did not take the wrappers off the crayons), I used white and silver crayons w my blues. I love it!!!!
