A Quiver Tree in Spitzkoppe, Namibia. Because bushmen use it's branches to make quivers, the aloe dichotoma, or kokerboom, is known as the quiver tree. It is a species of aloe indigenous to Southern Africa and parts of Southern Namibia.
Araucaria araucana (Monkey puzzle tree) is an evergreen tree growing to 40 metres tall with a 2 metres trunk diameter. The tree is native to central and southern Chile, western Argentina, and southern Brazil.
