Seasons chart. Make something like this for Emma. She's been talking about seasons at preschool already. Maybe even do a nature walk and collect things that signify each season (though what would we do for winter)? Leaves/flowers for fall/spring, sand for summer...

Students create an anchor chart displaying the similarities and differences between the four seasons. Student could pick a specific object such as a tree to represent what the tree looks like in each season. Also a great way to integrate weather concepts.

Fall: q-tips Winter: cotton balls Spring: tissue paper summer: cork

Fall: paint with q-tips Winter: cotton balls Spring: tissue paper Summer: paint with a cork. Just another fun way to occupy the kids!
