NGC 602 in the Flying Lizard Nebula ~ Near the outskirts of the Small Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy some 200 thousand light-years distant, lies 5 million year young star cluster NGC 602. Surrounded by natal gas and dust, the cluster itself is about 200 light-years in diameter.

Barnard’s Loop, an emission nebula in Orion
Barnard’s Loop (Sh 2-276) is an emission nebula of some 300 light-years across, located about 1600 light-years away in the constellation of Orion. It is part of the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex which also contains the bright Horsehead and Orion nebulae. - Image Credit: Hunter Wilson
