Note the bare titanium inside the landing gear door, and the aluminum added to the tire rubber to reflect heat away from the rubber in cruising flight. The SR-71 was made of titanium because it couldn't have flown as fast if made from aluminum- heating from just the speed through the air would have weakened aluminum too much.
