In this photo are (facing camera) Queen Alexandra of England and Wales, wife of Edward the VIl. With back to camera is her sister, Princess Dagmar of Denmark, Maria Feodorovna, wife of Alexander III of Russia. The picture would have been taken after 1901 when Alexandra became Queen and before 1910 when Edward Vll died. She would have been in a black dress of mourning after that date. This picture was probably taken in one of their homes. :-)
