It makes me an embarrassingly degree of happy that the branch on the tree at the Y is just tall enough that I can walk underneath it...it's like a short persons benefit...albeit a small benefit but a benefit nonetheless...it could take some tall persons eye out...sigh...it really does take so little to make me happy!

People find bats creepy and scary but I think they are miss understood and I would love to have bats on my property. I've always enjoyed watching them fly around looking for a tasty meal. These are my favorite of all bats - Flying Foxes.
