I don't know about you guys, but mindless fmq makes me so happy. I call it 'mindless" because I don't have to think too much. I just pick two contrasting textures and quilt all of one motif in one part of the design, then another motif in another part of the quilt. Seriously - it's all about using a blending thread so you see the overall texture rather than the individual stitches. This is just the back showing pebbles and switchbacks. from Christa Watson
