Vintage Satin Frosted Glass Vase, Barolac Description Gorgeous vintage satin / frosted glass vase with molded swirling leaf motif and scalloped edge design. Consignor states that this piece is Czechoslovakian Barolac Inwald Glass produced circa 1930’s, but it is not marked. In excellent condition with some normal bottom wear. Measures: 7.5" tall X 4" in diameter.

Designed in Czechoslovakia at the Josef Inwald glassworks, this exquisite line of Bohemian glass was originally imported to England under the name "Barolac", a trademark registered in 1935 by John Jenkins & Son of London.

The vase was produced by the Josef Inwald Company as part of their Barolac Sculpture Glass line. The Art Deco inspired line was originally commissioned by John Jenkins & Son of London during the 1930's. The vase has a striking design with Iris blossoms arranged in four panels around the exterior.
