How your shape looks is not as important as how it feels.
When you tune into the sensations you’re feeling in your workout, you can identify if your alignment is supportive or not. Here’s how you know if your shape supports your body: 1. You feel the work in the *belly* of your muscles, not in or near your joints. 2. The tension/intensity feels broad and heated but doesn’t feel pointed or sharp 3. You are able to sustain your body awareness in other parts of your body and not just the muscle group you’re working Because we all have different bone structure, finding the alignment that works for you is up to you.
