This is Lilly, she is a bure bred white boxer. She is also deaf. She belongs to some friends of ours. I have never been around a youthful dog that is deaf (I have had several dogs go deaf with old age). It's interesting to watch her and how compensates for her handicap. She constantly searches her surroundings visually and looks to her owners for visual queues. Her and our Daisy had some fun playing during our recent camping trip.

If you've ever seen a boxer dog breed specimen, you know that they have two, very different sides. On one side there's this amazingly athletic, handsome and very bright dog, on the other - there's this constantly salivating, adorable goofball of a funny dog.
