The ex got a new Whippet puppy last Tuesday and I went along when he picked him up. I snapped a quick pic of the eight week old when we got home. He's a cutie and seems to have a really good temperament. Jim swiped an old dog name of mine and so the working name for him is Ranger unless something better is suggested. I'm not quite sold on the name, but I could get used to it (and it's not my dog!). Cassie and Cody are adjusting nicely to the addition (mostly...).

The Whippet is an amazing dog and great family pets. They are so patient and gentle, not aggressive at all, and very obedient (assuming there is no squirrel in view). Most people assume they have tons of energy but that isn't necessarily true. They do need exercise, but after a walk, they are total couch potatoes!
