Pre-wet your watercolours. 2. Use yellow colour and create small strokes for the center of the flower using the flicking method. 3. Load red colour on your brush. Use the two-stroke method to paint petals around the center. Repeat this process to paint all the petals (five or six, as you prefer). 4. While the petals are still wet, drop some red on the edges of each petal for colour variation. 5. Add dark brown colour to the center of the flower to complete it. Pre-wet your watercolours 2. Mix dark pink with a lot of water to make it light. The colour will have less pigment and look very light. 3. Leave the center of the flower as an oval. Use the flicking method to make small and big strokes around the center to form the flower petals using light pink colour. 4. When the first layer is slightly dry, add another layer of dark pink to create colour variations and depth. 5. Paint the center of the flower yellow. While the yellow is still wet, dab a little brown on one side for contrast. Add stems and leaves as you like.
