Based on a true story, this film shares the first incursion Afghanistan after the 9-11 Attack. It's a good film that highlights the often unsung heroism of the armed forces.

Tom Hanks, American actor whose cheerful everyman persona made him a natural for starring roles in many popular films, including Splash (1984) and Big (1988). In the 1990s he expanded his comedic repertoire to include such dramas as Philadelphia (1993) and Forrest Gump (1994). He won an Oscar for both movies.

War movies have been around as long as cinema has existed. There is something about the horror, bravery, tragedy, and excitement of combat that has inspires filmmakers and put butts in the seats.
