Vintage Rose is a new Technique of the Month by Quiltworx to be released in January 2017. I once again was delighted when Judel asked if I would quilt one of their new cover samples. This is the wall version, there is no border, it just floats on the background. The piecing was done by Cindy Haddick a CI for Quiltworx and she did a wonderful job. This is a full size quilt that I made for my wife. It is one of those top stitched quilts that fray when washed. It was very easy to make. Which was a good thing because I don't like to spend weeks on a project. And since I sometimes have lapses of accuracy; this is a very forgiving quilt to make. I first saw this quilt when I was visiting a quilt shop in Vero Beach, FL with my mother-in-law. I fell in love with it instantly. I am such a fan of quilts that have that cozy look to them while still being super cute. It is the French Roses quilt by Heather French, you can by it here.
