I’m a professional illustrator with a strong fondness for political, social and human issues, with more than 10 years experience collaborating with several publications and companies across four continents. So... I'm currently exploring the use of plastic bottles in my craft projects. And this is one of them: Plastic Bottle Jelly Fish. I really love how it turned out and my 3 year old daughter has already decided that for her 4th birthday, she wants to have a magical under the sea themed party with lots of these jellyfish hanging everywhere. Getting used materials back to the recycler is the hard and expensive part of any program to recycle. Who collects and who pays for it to get back? Who sets up the required infrastructure for this? . Until those get solved it will be many years until reuse and recycle strategies are working efficiently. Using products like those from BioGone, landfill-biodegradable recycled plastic, is the best way to go to minimize the accumulation of plastic waste somewhere. Read more…
