The Tourlitis Lighthouse is located off the coast of the port of Andros. It was first built in 1897 on a stone column that had been shaped by natural erosion into the perfect pedestal for a coastal beacon. In 1996 it was reconstructed and the stones used for its construction came from Northern Epirus.
