To teach division in 3rd grade, you can introduce division by using the same strategies you used to teach multiplication. Teach conceptual understanding by using equal groups and arrays to divide. Also, include measurement division situations which can be taught using a number line (repeated subtraction). Whatever strategy you use, start with concrete experiences and relatable situations.
