Hi Everyone! It is finally warm enough to start doing gardening work. My mulch is coming next week and so I thought about putting up a raspberry trellis. I thought I would start a picture thread where we all can show off…

Raspberries are easy to grow and maintain, and start producing fruit in the first or second year. If properly trellised, you can keep the canes and fruit off the ground and leave enough walking space on each side for harvest.

Three layer raspberry trellis made out of 36" wide cattle panels and 6' t-posts. Used fence clips to attach panels to posts. Raspberries grow through squares and stay upright. I had one at prior property and it worked very well. Built in 2021. Note those are onions growing at edge this year until raspberries take over.

Build raspberry trellis- two 8 foot 4x4 posts, sunk 2 feet in the ground. four 2x4's 24" wide, nailed to the posts. 14 gauge wire attached to 4 large eyehooks. two at 24 inchs high and two at the top. Our March project. We have 8 super healthy Heritage raspberry canes ready to plant.
