My card this evening is for this week's color challenge at Splitcoaststampers. I colored the chickadees to look as much like real chickadees as I could. Then, I happened put the nested stitched label of them on the Magnolia Lane designer series paper, and it was SO striking. It was easy to add the sentiment, striped organdy Petal Pink Ribbon and light pink iridescent sequins. (Sorry the left sequins look Melon Mambo due to the light--they are light pink.) Hi, Stamping Friends, We just returned from a weekend trip to Grand Marais, Minnesota. It is a quaint little town located on the north shore of Lake Superior that has awesome food, relaxing atmosphere and the best pie and frozen custard ever! CARD Beautiful "Your friendship means the world to me" card from the Stampin' Up Free as a Bird stamp set. The stamp set pairs great with the Magnolia Land Memories and More Card Pack, you can make two cards with them together. The birds are colored with Stampin' Blends markers. Stamp the words on a piece of cardstock slightly larger than I needed. Then run through the die cut machine with the Subtle Embossing Folder. Cut out with the Stitched Rectangle die.
