“Craving an island villa more than ever.”

But it doesn’t surprise me that the villa that does indeed take my breath away was designed by the well-known architects at Sukyf studio. I have shot some of their other houses such as the Mandala House, The Starling Villa and Villa Nonnavana. But this is the first time they have directly asked me to shoot one of their properties. Of course, how could I say no!

Villa Cilli is tucked away in a quiet and exclusive part of Umalas. You get a perfect balance of quiet, but also only a few minutes away from the centre of Canggu and Seminyak.

When I was asked to shoot Villa Pukara in Padang Linjong I was surprised by the fact that their backyard had huge had rice field views and they weren’t built up as other gangs (lanes) on the street. These days having a rice field view is a complete luxury that not many people get while living in Canggu
