Fan Art for Starwars - The droid I love most. Starwars is Life. I may not have any built life size R2D2, but I'm proud of what I have here. I was so inspired to draw this blueprint as it gives me the fulfillment of like having a real one. The amount of time I've spent drawing this really quite paid off after I saw the finished product..

Star Wars: Probe droids (also known as probots or recon droids) specifically designed & programmed to perform reconnaissance duties. These units were dispatched by various space navies to gather information from a variety of different locations, reporting anything of significance as defined by specific preprogrammed protocols. Some models were equipped with a self-destruct mechanism in order to prevent those whom it had been sent to observe from studying them & determining their source.
