a close up of a greeting card with flowers on the front and bottom, along with other cards

This is such an easy card to make - it looks far more difficult than it really is! I used some papers from my stash that have an alcohol inked pattern on them. The patterns are simply beautiful. I cut the pieces so the pattern would continue down the staggered sections. Since there were a few colours in the paper, I chose the pink and aqua shades to stencil my hot foiled floral image. That was added to the front of the card and I used a hot foiled sentiment at the bottom. Some gold gems were…

an open book sitting on top of a wooden table next to a pair of scissors

My friend, Doreen, suggested I write a tutorial for creating a double Z fold card after finding a beautiful example online. They are one of those great cards that gives you a lot of bang for your buck... my favourite kind!... and can be made quickly and in whatever size you need. Like all the best folds, these cards fold flat to fit into a standard sized envelope. What's not to love?! 1. Start with a piece of card stock measuring 11" x 4" and a second coordinating piece measuring 11" x 2"…

a close up of a card with flowers on it

Hello friends, This is a beautiful card using the Very Vintage stamp set (#c146801, #w146798). Most of my cards recently have had very little stamping, so this one has a bit more. This was a card I did for a class, so was easy to set up each of the stamps on the Stamparatus (#148187). The Merry Merlot base card (#147005) was cut 15cm x 29.8cm (the length of the A4 card). The strip at the bottom of the card is 4cm wide and the same length as the card. The 2 pieces of card are scored at 7.5cm…

someone is holding up a card with some birds on it

That is a mouthful, isn't it? Z-fold Diamond Pop-Up Card. Although a mouthful, every syllable is important. The card I'm sharing today is indeed a z-fold card (folded in half, then the front folded back on itself). It's also a card with three diamonds on it, so that's apt. When you open the card the largest diamond pops off the card. So there ya go - a z-fold diamond pop-up card.I can't stand how adorable this is, especially with the camper. I can tell already that Sale-a-bration is going to…

someone is holding two pieces of cardboard in their hands

These cards are quick and easy to make and can be decorated in a variety of ways. It's simple to alter their size since there are just two folds, and there's plenty of space to add sentiments and embellishments. 1. Place a piece of card stock measuring 111/2" x 4" horizontally on your score board and score at 27/8" and again at 53/4". Fold along both score lines. 2. Trim a second piece of card stock to 5" x 31/2" and secure it in place on the bottom half of the card base so that there is…
