Oravský Hrad is a castle situated on a high rock above the Orava River in the village Oravský Podzámok, near Dolný Kubín, Slovakia. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia. The castle was built in the 13th century. The original design was in Romanesque and Gothic styles but it was later reconstructed to fit the Renaissance and Neo-Gothic styles. © iStock/Anshar73
