Saturn v

Hi, The Saturn V rocket is another model I had a pleasure to create for the mobile application developed by the Immersion company (who cooperated with the Smithsonian and NASA). The Apollo`s Moon Shot AR app is celebrating the 50th anniversary of first Moon landing. The model has four textures (exterior, engines, command module and interior). I have made these renders for the rocket`s presentation purpose. Thanks for watching.

One of the first things I did on my visits to the KSC archives was to research the markings on the Saturn V. Many original photos were examined to get a better idea of the variations between the 15 flight vehicle. This section will get an update soon.

The countdown has begun for the launch of LEGO's Saturn V moon rocket. LEGO rolled out its first photos and filed its "launch plan" for the "NASA Apollo Saturn V" model set to be released on June 1. The set is based on a fan submission on LEGO Ideas.
