Samuel Adams was an American Statesman, political philosopher, and one of the founding fathers of the United States of America. Adams lived from September 16, 1722 - October 2, 1803. Samuel Adams was one of the leaders that led the cause toward the American Revolution. Adams was second cousin to President John Adams. Samuel Adams was born in Boston and went to Harvard College. He was an unsuccessful businessman and tax collector before involving himself in politics.
